There are very good directions for how to make it on Pinterest if one goes to the pin that is by Priscilla Hewitt (the creator of the Carousel Square); the pin with both the solid pink square and the two-tone square in the same photo has the best directions. I've made two afghans with this square, and found it so interesting, I was never bored with it :-)
